Atlantis spacecraft leaves the safety platform

Atlantis will take at least 8 days of preparation if returned to the 39B launcher. NASA is continuing to study the conditions to be able to launch ships at the end of the Fall.

Currently the crew STS-115 has returned to Johnson Space Center at Houston to continue training while waiting for NASA to determine the date of entry into space.
