Atlantis landed at Kennedy Space Center on May 26. About 15 minutes before landing, it travels a distance of 64 km on the surface of the earth. In the process of rubbing against the atmosphere, the temperature in the outer shell of the ship can be up to 1,593 degrees Celsius. After this trip it is very likely that it will be "settled" in a museum.Photo: AP.
