$ 10,000 to send DNA samples to the moon

A team participating in the Google Lunar X Prize competition promised to send to any moon the DNA of anyone willing to spend $ 10,000.

Thus, the "Hang" fans may no longer have to look at the sky every night and listen to the song Frank Sinatra's 'Fly Me to the Moon' .

The opportunity comes from Omega, one of the many groups that participated in the race to send robots to the lunar surface in hopes of winning a $ 30 million prize organized by Google and the X Prize Foundation.

Through the Kickstarter fundraising website, the Omega team says the DNA samples will be gathered for the mission to start in December 2014.

Previously, another team from the non-profit laboratory Earthrise Space also announced that it would transfer dead ash to the moon for $ 20,000 / jar, according to Space.com.

Omega has won NASA's contract, worth up to $ 10 million, to report information about its lunar mission. However, the group is hoping to raise $ 200,000 to realize the first flight on Earth's natural satellite.

There are currently about 25 teams registered to participate in the talent race, with the requirement to place the robot on the moon surface, run 500m and send data to Earth.
