26 new black holes in Tien Nu galaxy

Thanks to the Chandra X-ray observatory of the US Space and Aeronautics Agency (NASA), astronomers have identified 26 new black hole candidates in Tien Nu galaxy, bringing the total number of 'monsters' in The neighboring galaxy is 35 pcs.

With this achievement, Tien Nu became the galaxy that possessed the most black holes outside our Milky Way galaxy, according to Forbes.

To draw that conclusion, Chandra has been patiently observing the center of this galaxy for 13 years, doing a new search each month on average.

Among the newly discovered black holes, the researchers identified 12 'most heavyweight candidates' as black holes, while the remaining 14 are listed as 'likely' , which requires further implementation. Future observations to ensure that they are black holes.

These black holes are not large, only 5 to 10 times the sun.

However, it is interesting to note that there are seven newly discovered black holes within a 1,000 light-year radius of the supermassive black hole in the center of Tien Nu galaxy.

In contrast, the Milky Way does not seem to have many black holes around the central black hole. The black hole of the Tien Nu galaxy is also larger than our galaxy.
