4 planets lined up to create an amazing astronomical phenomenon

From the balcony of her house in Rome, Gianluca Masi captured a unique image of the night sky, with 4 planets including Jupiter, Venus, Mars and Saturn (along with the moon) lined up.

Thanks to the random and extremely rare arrangement of the 4 visible planets (from Earth) in the Solar System, Italian astrophysicist Gianluca Masi has captured a unique image.

In this image, 4 planets including Saturn, Mars, Venus and Jupiter form a line directly behind the Moon, like "duck" lined up next to their mother.

It is known that all four planets can be observed from April 23 above the horizon, and in the early morning in the Northern Hemisphere. "It's a wonderful sight, all four planets are very easy to see," Masi said.

He also explained that the reason for this phenomenon is when the orbits of the planets bring them to the same area of the sky, when viewed from Earth.

The four planets are expected to stay in their line until early July. However, in mid-June, Mercury will join the "parade", bringing the total number of planets that make up the line. to number 5.

This interesting connection between planets is not uncommon, but they are not uncommon either. It is known that the last time 5 planets were recorded in a straight line in the night sky was in 2020, and before that was in 2016 and 2005.
