4-legged chicks, fishing floats ... on the back
Among the 5 newly hatched chicks, the owner found one with up to 4 legs and a float on the back of the right wing.
Over the past few days, the strange chicken dragged many curious people to Do Dang Thanh's house in My Phu Bac village, My Loi commune, Phu My district (Binh Dinh) to see.

The owner said, 10 days ago, mother chickens hatched 5 children, including one with deformities. The front legs of the "big" chicken are healthy and normal, but the rear side adds a small body dangling with an inverted legs. It is this extra small body that forms a reverse fishing float on chicken back.
When moving forward, the hind legs shrink. But when backing, 4 feet of chicken all land. Since hatching until now, this chicken is still healthy, running after his mother to eat normally.
'At first, seeing a chicken with a strange shape, my wife tried to throw it away but found my crime to keep it, and it was unexpectedly developing normally and attracted many people to come and see, " Mr. Thanh said.
Associate Professor Nguyen Khac Tich, genetic expert, who taught at the University of Agriculture 1, Hanoi, said that the phenomenon of 4-legged chickens is rare, but not very rare. This is a mutation phenomenon, often occurs in mountainous areas, sudden climate change, or sudden changes in food .
