"I've never seen anything like that up until now, so I kept it in the box and let him eat cake and drink milk but didn't know he was eating , " Duong said.

Mr. Duong also said that he informed scientists of the Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources to take samples and identify the species names.

Talking to PV, Mr. Hoang Van Ngoc, a lecturer of Department of Biology, Thai Nguyen University, said that looking at the drawing can recognize this is a short-legged lizard , scientific name is Lygosoma . They are small, short legs, so they often do not use their legs and appear at night.

"This breed has a lot of species that are very similar in shape and distributed throughout the country. Therefore, to determine the exact species name, it is necessary to take samples and count the scales on that species," Ngoc said.

According to Mr. Ngoc, many people mistakenly have lizards with two heads, but actually their legs structure tends to be opposite.

Lygosoma has no venom. They live mainly in Southeast Asia. In Vietnam this species is distributed in Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai and Kien Giang.
