01. Monkey face flowers (Dracula simia)

This monkey-faced orchid grows only on the slopes of a height of 1000-2000m of dense dark forests in southeastern Ecuador and Peru. The monkey face has Dracula simia's scientific name, in which simia means monkey face, and Dracula refers to two petals that look quite similar to vampire fangs.

One very interesting thing about this flower is that when it flourishes, they have a very fragrant aroma of ripe orange fruit.

02. Bee flower (Ophrys apifera)

Each bee flower looks like a female bee lying on a pink petal, to attract the attention of male bees. The process of "phishing" these male bees helps pollinate plants. This flower is often scattered in England, Ireland and Wales.

03. Bird's head flower (Phalaenopsis sp.)

Known by another name as pink butterfly flower, this flower looks like it has a bird's head protecting the nectar. The flower shape also looks like a young bird falling into a flower and stuck there.

04. White stork flower (Habenaria radiata)

It is endemic to China, Japan, Korea and Russia. Although it looks very much like a wingspan, the white stork is often mistaken for another flower called "white tassel" (Platanthera praeclara) - a rare orchid in North America.

05. Pigeon flower (Peristeria elata)

Pigeon flower is the national flower of the Republic of Panama. Similar to the bird-head flower mentioned above, this flower hides inside it the shape of a dove. Popular doves from all Central America to Ecuador and Venezuela, and are on the brink of extinction.

06. Duck flower (Caleana major)

This is a small orchid about 50cm high, growing much in eastern and southern Australia. The natural mother gave birth to look like a flying male duck.
