Clear ocean - the most exotic animal on the ocean floor

Looking at the strange images of the sea lily makes many people wonder.

This strange and beautiful creature is called Crinoids , also known as Huizhou . The Dutch diver Els van den Eijnden has recorded precious photographs of this species in the waters near Bali.

Very rarely do we see sea lily swimming like this.

Huizhou has tentacles that look like branches, growing lots of feathers. This animal lives on coral reefs, and rarely catches the sight of them swimming.

Sea lilies have the scientific name Endoxocrinus parrae . Although bearing the name of a flower, but actually sea lily is an animal belonging to the group of echinoderms, the same family as starfish and sea urchins. They use feathers that look like bird feathers to catch and suck the fleets.

There are about 600 types of sea lily in the world.

Huizhou is a strange and beautiful creature with tentacles that look like branches, growing lots of feathers. In most of the time living, sea lilies cling to rocks and coral reefs. Only in special situations will they move from their residence. Therefore, it is very rare to see the sight of this animal swimming.

Sea lilies are characterized by having a mouth at the top, a U-shaped gut, and their anus located next to the mouth.

Huizhou is the oldest group of echinoderms that exists today. They have about 5,000 species of fossils and more than 600 species that live in both deep, shallow or tropical coral reefs. Seaweed is eaten by filtering small food particles from seawater with their feathers.

Huizhou is the original creature, has separate male and female but they do not have clear gonads.
