Alien life can be discovered in the next 20 years
An American astronomer thinks that extraterrestrial life will be discovered in unexplored areas in the universe.
Astronomer Seth Shostak of the Search for Alien Intelligence (SETI) said that people are about to find alien intelligence, Futurism on October 1 reported.
SETI searched and studied mysterious phenomena in the universe for decades in the hope of helping people to confirm the existence of alien life."I bet we will find extraterrestrial intelligence in the next 20 years , " Shostak said in an interview.

Although no evidence has been found that alien life exists, human discoveries about the universe in the last 20 years are not small. In fact, these findings are of great significance for SETI's activities. Compared to a few decades ago, people learned that there are still many unexplored places in the universe.
Shostak thinks we can find alien life in such areas."Maybe we will find life as bacteria. That will happen soon, I think," he said. However, contacting aliens is another matter.
"I'm not very clear about contacting aliens. If they're 500 light-years away, you'll hear a signal transmitted 500 years ago. And if you send the message back," Hello, We are Earth people. How are you doing? ", 1,000 years later you will receive a reply ," Shostak added.
However, he thinks that if we receive a reply, we will at least know there are aliens in the universe.
