Aliens can be as heavy as polar bears
A Spanish scientist thinks alien creatures can be as heavy as a polar bear and over two meters tall, but are unlikely to be smarter than humanity.
Mysterious aliens
Cosmologist Fergus Simpson, a University of Barcelona expert, speculated that aliens could weigh more than 300 kg, equivalent to a polar bear . If there is a human-like physique, they may be over two meters tall, even more so than Robert Wadlow - the tallest person in world history.

Simpson argues that smaller species often have a larger number of individuals, such as comparing ants with humans. From there he deduced that if this rule was applied to the intellectual world in the universe, the small-sized species would have a large number, and argued that humans were small-sized creatures. In other words, " humans can be just like ants among other thinking creatures ," Simpson said.
Regarding the intellectual abilities of aliens, Seth Shostak, astronomer of the Institute of Civilization Research in the Universe (SETI), argued that larger size does not mean higher intelligence . Dolphins have a higher IQ than sharks, ravens are usually smarter than eagles and naturally humans are smarter than polar bears.
However, the cosmic science is still controversial around these arguments. Shostak said we could not confirm anything until we actually contacted the alien creature.
