Live in a special room for 8 days

In 8 days, volunteers will live in a special room of the Biochemical Problem Research Institute in Moscow. This place is famous for incredible research on the psychological and physical effects of space travel.

In 2010, the agency also locked up six male volunteers in a 520-day isolation test, to simulate a flight to Mars and return.

'For the first time, a crew like this participated in simulation experiments. We feel interesting when observing how a female whole crew communicates , 'Sergei Ponomaryov, supervisor of the experiment, said.

The director of Igor Ushakov said: 'I hope there will be no conflict even though they often say that two housewives can hardly stay together in a kitchen.'

Volunteers include researchers, a doctor and a psychologist.

Ponomaryov said: 'There has never been a whole female crew on ISS. However, we think about the future and gender equality. '

Beautiful without makeup

The women who participated in the experiment were confident in responding to the media about how they would behave when there were no men next to them or no makeup for 8 days.

'We are still very beautiful without makeup , ' said Darya Komissarova.

Komssarova's Anna Kussmaul, explained: 'We are working. When you are working, you don't think about men and women. '

Like astronauts living on ISS, they will not have a shower and must bathe with a wet towel.

Women plan to spend more than an hour each day watching movies, reading books and playing games.

Team leader Yelena Luchnitskaya said she hoped there would be no conflict between women.'I'm sure we all have education and dignity ,' she said.
