America cremated the first person to the moon
The US Navy has just performed a ceremony to bury the ashes of Neil Armstrong, the first astronaut to set foot on the moon, in the middle of the Atlantic on September 14.

Neil Armstrong was the first person on the planet to set foot on the moon on July 21, 1969. He died in Ohio state in August at the age of 82.
The American Aerospace Agency (NASA) announced Armstrong burial ritual took place on the USS Philippine Sea aircraft carrier on the Atlantic Ocean on September 14. One day, NASA celebrated his memorial service in Washington, DC.
Soldiers on aircraft carriers carried out funeral ceremonies for military personnel such as spreading the flag, firing guns and trumpets.
Armstrong once piloted a US Navy fighter plane before becoming an astronaut.

The aircraft carrier commander with Carol Armstrong dropped the pitcher of the ashes of the astronaut into the ocean. NASA did not announce the location of the ship in the Armstrong family's wishes. The place where the USS Phillipine Sea is anchored is the port of Mayport, Florida.
