Ancient long-haired mammoths

Elephants are the largest terrestrial vertebrate today, also a rare, rare animal branch in the world. There are 2 varieties of elephants: Asian elephants and African elephants. They live in the tropics. But in the ancient ancient world, there were many varieties of elephants, widely distributed across all continents.

Later, many elephants were extinct

Ancient long-haired elephants, also known as mammoths, the scientific name is Manmuthus is the most prominent strain of recruiting. Mammoth looks like Asian elephants but the hind legs are short, the whole body leaning backwards . About 20,000 years ago, this elephant lived in Asia and North America.

Archaeologists and biologists have found more than 20 complete mammoth corpses in the permafrost of Siberia and Alaska Peninsula. In the blood vessels still full of blood, the stomach still had green grass, and twigs.

Mammoths live in glaciers, thick skin elephants, we grow dense long hair, so called long-haired mammoths. Shoulder hair and back hair are 50cm long. The skin is 7.6cm thick to support the cold. On the top of the head, the round has a hump in which the fat is stored. A long, moving nose is under the head. Very long mammoth teeth, curled inside, the longest to 5cm. Ghost butt sucking down, tail growing a long feather, only 4 fingers, less than one finger compared to the current elephant.

So far, we still don't know the cause of extinction of mammoths.
