Asian American students are better at studying

Asian American students are better than white students because of their hard work, a study by scientists recently explained.

The research results are based on analyzing data from two separate surveys on thousands of white and Asian students in the US from kindergarten through high school.

In it, scientists at Queens College of New York, University of Michigan and Peking University evaluated the grades, test scores, ranked teachers to income and family education, immigration status and other factors.

"Starting to study, Asian-American students do not have any more significant learning advantages than whites," - AFP said. But by grade 5, at the age of 10-11, Asian American students "are significantly better than white students" . The distance increased gradually to the highest level in the 10th grade, aged 15-16.

In general, the results show that achievement gaps may be due to differences in learning efforts and not differences in cognitive ability and writing.

However, good academic results also have a price. Research shows that compared to white students, Asian students, from South Asia, Southeast Asia or East Asia, do not have positive thoughts about themselves and often complain that there is no time for friends.
