Atlantis Space Shuttle completes its final mission
Space Shuttle Atlantis on 23/5 left the International Space Station (ISS) and set out for Earth, completing her final mission on this space station.

The Atlantis left the ISS laboratory at 11.22 local time (2:22 PM GMT) after the crew members on board the ships carried the last of more than 12 tons. the device went to ISS and completed the last trip out of space to install equipment for the space station.
This was the 32nd mission and the last mission of the Atlantis space shuttle before retiring. This ship was first launched into space in 1985, and in the past 25 years has made an estimated 185 million km.
Currently only two space shuttle NASA is Discovery and Endevour. The two vessels are expected to go to ISS in September and November this year, and these will also be their final missions, closing the manned ship era to the US universe with 134 launches to orbit. .
After the deadline, the US will have to rely on Russian ships to bring astronauts to ISS until it launches a new generation spacecraft "space taxi," expected in 2015./.
