According to Mirror, an unnamed man while searching for metals at an old gold mine in Golden Triangle, Victoria, Australia on August 19 discovered a lump of solid gold weighing 4kg at a depth of 0.3m below his face land.
He named this gold department "The Sixth Joy", then immediately wrapped it in foil and hid it in the oven. One day before that, he dug another gold block, shaped like a tennis ball, weighed 255g at 0.6 meters from the ground.
"At first I thought it was scrap, maybe an old horseshoe. When I started peeling the clay and digging deeper, I really couldn't believe my eyes. I just dug a huge block of gold, I just couldn't expect that once this big block of gold was left , " Minelab.com quoted the man.
The gold block is being stored in a bank cell while waiting for a replica to be sold at auction. After the discovery, this man plans to buy a truck and travel around Australia to find gold and admire the scenery.
