Group of scientists from National University of Singapore (NUS) studied 7 types of plants including: Indian tangled tubers (Leea indica), cornucopia (Clinacanthus nutans), rosewood (Clausena lansium), and dragon fruit (Pereskia bleo), Strobilanthes crispus, bear bile (Vernonia amygdalina), tricuspid (Vitex trifolia).
They extracted from the fresh leaves of these plants and examined their effects on breast cancer cells, ovarian cancer, uterine and cervical cancer, blood cancer, liver cancer and bowel cancer. The results showed that Indian tuber, bear bile and tricuspid fruit were effective for all 7 types of cancer ; The rosewood and cat's eczema are effective in some diseases. The obesity plant does not prevent cancer.
Singapore scientists think that more research is needed to determine the anti-cancer component in these plants. Meanwhile, they advised cancer patients to absolutely not use plants on their own to treat cancer without consulting their doctor.
