BPA infection affects many generations
Small amounts of Bisphenol A compound (BPA) during pregnancy can harm the brain and interact, transmit to future generations.
BPA, a toxic artificial compound, is present in many plastic products from water bottles, food containers to dental coatings and is now found in urine as well as human blood.
The conclusion comes after scientists at the University of Virginia Medical School (USA) monitored BPA infection in mice, according to IANS news agency.
Accordingly, scientists found BPA infection prior to pregnancy, making it easier for mice to become anxious, aggressive and have wrong cognitive commands.
'We have for the first time demonstrated that BPA has an impact on social and neurological behavior from generation to generation . Because BPA infection can change the behavior of interaction in mice with content. by the level of detection in humans, it can be deduced that this compound also has a similar effect on humans , 'said lead researcher Emilie Rissman.
