Demolish mines by using arrows to detonate mines. It is a new type of ammunition removal tool for the US military.

Current demining is not effective, especially if mines are in sand or under water. Thus, Raytheon's defense company produced a bullet containing hundreds of "arrows" of steel. Each arrow is 15mm in diameter, 155mm in length with a tail. Hundreds of arrows are packed into a single cylindrical bullet. This can explode the mines in a single shot.

When fired at a minefield, just before the impact, the arrows will fire, pointing downwards. They dive to the ground or water at high speeds and at fairly equal distances.

Tests have shown that the bullet can clear mines in an area of hundreds of square meters, even when mines are buried under the sand or at a depth of about 1 m underwater. Global satellite positioning devices can also be used to guide bullets.
