Call mobile on Boeing
Boeing has said it will add mobile services to some of its aircraft in 2013.
The Dreamliner 787 will be equipped with the ability to receive phone waves
Gizmodo, the maker of US civilian aircraft, has begun launching hardware-based processes for 747, 777 and 787 production planes that can receive and receive phone calls.
Even Boeing is equipped with a converter that allows airlines to upgrade their 787 aircraft to support mobile calls.
So, Boeing has followed Airbus to offer mobile phone technology on the plane.
Currently, Virgin Atlantic has begun allowing the use of 'crickets' on intercontinental Airbus A330 flights earlier this year.
However, international law does not allow the use of mobile phones on flights at altitudes of 10,000 meters. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has not yet made a new decision to use cell phones on the fly.
