Cars control thoughts

Scientists specializing in brain research have developed a car that can be controlled entirely by mental strength.

According to the Daily Mail, when used cars on, the driver will wear a headset in particular, which was originally designed for video game, with sensors attached to the electronic system of Vehicle through wireless technology. Everything the driver must do is "think" to the left or right or faster, and the car will meet these requirements.

The thought-driven vehicle is the invention of a group of German scientists. Inventors say they have used BrainDriver technology to build vehicles. The technology works by equipping video cameras, radar and car-based laser sensors to give it a full 3D image of the surrounding environment.

The driver then placed a special hat with 16 sensors attached, which helped to collect electromagnetic signals from the brain. These signals will then be interpreted by a computer (the computer is set up to be able to understand two distinct types of signal patterns, left or right).

The research team is testing the prototype of the car to see if it can one day be used in everyday life. However, they acknowledge that their experimental car is just a " proof of concept " and "there is still a long way to go before we can use the brain to drive the machines ."
