In the animal world there are countless strange and rare phenomena, including an incredible custom of fish, which is the phenomenon of fish hatching eggs in the mouth.

The photographer of wildlife and conservation Zafer Kizilkaya (45 years) from Foca, west of Turkey, said he caught the fish while diving. ' At first, the fish was quite shy, it hid in a hole just sticking its head with a big mouth out and it took him 2 hours to wait for the fish to get out of the hole, ' said Kizilkaya. .

The fish opens its mouth wide so that the flow of water can easily circulate the eggs . Each fish contains about 300-400 eggs in its mouth. The eggs will hatch at sunset and small larvae will drift around.

In a similar case, the male fish takes this task very seriously, so they can't even eat until their child hatches. Photos of a male fish filled with eggs in the mouth below were taken by a Malaysian divers named Mat Yie.

"Normally, the female will release an egg wrap near the selected male. After the male fertilizes the egg, it will suck the eggs into the mouth and incubate the eggs until the eggs hatch into fish. The male will not be able to eat during the incubation process , 'said Mat Yie.

Although male fish do not eat during incubation , some scientific studies have found that up to 30% of eggs float into the male's abdomen during incubation. This is why this fish is called carnivorous fish. Some other animals, like frogs, also hatch their babies in their mouths. But this is often the habit of fish, and is also often undertaken by the prawns.
