China created a breakthrough in atomic technology

Chinese scientists have made great strides in nuclear fuel recycling technology and put an end to concerns about uranium supply.

China 's uranium source is only about 50 to 70 years old, but with this new technology, they could be enough for another 3,000 years.

This is a huge step forward in the plan to increase energy resources for the world's most populous nation, in order to reduce environmental pollution and ensure energy security, AFP said.

In recent years, China has increased investment in the atomic field and reduced its dependence on coal, which meets 70% of their energy needs. The country currently produces about 750 tons of uranium each year, but by 2020, the demand will increase to about 20,000 tons when increasing the atomic energy source.
