Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has just signed a decree to stipulate preferential policies to support trainees in the field of atomic energy.
According to the decree, those who are trained in the country , in addition to being exempted from tuition and dormitory for free, college-level students are also entitled to monthly living expenses equal to 1.5 salary. the institution (1,725,000 VND) provides good academic performance and is equal to 1.0 (1,150,000 VND) of the basic salary if studying well.

With the level of higher education, the corresponding level is 2.5 with good academic performance (equivalent to VND 2,875,000) and 1.5 times with good academic performance. Besides, if the final year is quite good, students will be considered for 6-month internship abroad. All internship costs are guaranteed by the state budget. As a graduate with a good grade or higher, students are allowed to transfer to graduate and postgraduate studies at home and abroad, with priority chosen to work at agencies and organizations operating in the atomic field. , not through the probationary period.
For master students, research and training master and doctoral degree is granted monthly living allowance equal to 3.5 times the basic salary (about 4 million); keep the salary during the training period . All internship expenses are guaranteed by the state budget.
The Decree also stipulates many incentives for subjects trained abroad . University students, graduate students, and graduate students who study in the field of atomic energy outside the country are granted 2 round-trip tickets for economy class for students and fellows, 1 ticket round-trip economy aircraft for master students during their study to go and return to Vietnam; get a passport, visa fee.
At the same time, this person will be provided with a living allowance of 1.2 times the highest cost of living currently granted to Vietnamese students, master students and graduate students going to study abroad under digging schemes. created by the Government; To purchase the minimum level of health insurance provided by the host country, which applies generally to foreign citizens who come to study.
