According to Xinhua news agency, until now, the pressure to publish only successful research has hampered the development of science and led to fraud in the scientific world.

Bai Chunli, a scientist at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), said that the fear of failure is quite common among the research community and is hindering Chinese science from developing.

Last year, a leading scientist from the country was fired from the industry after lying to him to invent a new computer chip.

The new law will promote initiatives and allow scientists to undertake research in areas of high risk of failure. In this law there are provisions: 'Scientists and experts who start studying a high-risk work will still be supported with research costs if they can provide evidence that they have tried. but still failed to achieve your goals'.

This new law can be added to China's current Science and Technology Development Law.
