China has just set the world record for its nuclear fusion system

A closer step on the long-distance dream of "eternal energy."

Scientists in China have just announced that they have achieved the world record for producing fusion energy - fusion energy. Specifically, the tokamak torch-generating equipment that was created to gather energy from the nuclear fusion of the Chinese maintained a steady state in 101.2 seconds.

This memorable milestone means the EAST Advanced Superconducting Loop Reactor , otherwise known as the 'artificial sun' , became the first tokamak to reach the milestone ' within 100 seconds or more. This is a statement issued Wednesday by the Huizhou Institute of Physics, affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The dream of eternal energy is approaching.

Last year, the EAST operations team reached a record of 60 seconds.

Their success will be an extremely important test for the ITER International Nuclear Thermal Reactor Project - a joint science project between many countries - a step closer to success. . More than 30 countries have joined the ITER project, aiming to build the largest tokamak reactor in the world. It will be a large-scale, non-carbon-based nuclear fusion device that takes human technology to new heights.

We still dream of that dream: an artificial sun on Earth, providing eternal energy for human survival and study.

Fusion energy - fusion energy is the result of combining the nuclei of two or more light atoms with the nuclei of a heavier atom. That will generate a tremendous amount of energy and the best example is our Sun, a perfect natural reactor.

During the process of unification, the electrons of the atoms are separated from the nucleus and thereby form an extremely hot cloud of electrons and ions, known as the plasma.
