China launches the Lunar Explorer spacecraft

Three seconds later, Truong Chinh-3C left the launch pad and brought the exploration ship the Common Russian-2 Moon to orbit 100km from the Moon and then moved in elliptical orbit 15km from the surface of " Ms Hang ".

Ordinary Russian-2 is responsible for analyzing the surface, the environment around the Moon and photographing the area of ​​China's spacecraft expected to land on the Moon in the future.

The launch of Thuong Nga-2 is part of China's three-step roadmap to explore the Moon. In 2007, China launched the first Lunar exploration ship named Thuong Nga-1.

Under the plan, in 2013, China will launch Thuong Nga-3 ship, land on the lunar surface and by 2017 will get a moonstone pattern brought back to Earth.
