Xinhua News Agency cited sources from China's Department of Defense Science-Technology-Industry (SASTIND) on November 26, announcing that the country will launch the Lunar Explorer "Hang Nga-3" in early December. next.

Spokesman SASTIND Ngo Chi Kien said that if things went smoothly, the "Hang Nga-3" explorer would land on the Moon in mid-December.
"Hang Nga-3" , both a lander and a Lunar explorer, will mark the first time a Chinese spacecraft landed gently on the surface of an extraterrestrial object.
The "Hang Nga-3" mission is the second phase of China's Moon exploration program, which involves flying around, landing on the surface of the Moon and returning to Earth.
