The 39-year-old amateur scientist, Jem Stansfield, has turned himself into a spider-like Spider-Man, climbing up high-rise buildings with a self-invented machine.
Stansfield's equipment includes: two vacuum units from a 1.5 kW household vacuum cleaner, two vacuum gloves with rubber belts mounted on two plywood panels and two leg clamps attached to the glove. vacuum hand.
At the science festival held in Brighton, England, Stansfield has a 9.14m high wall climbing performance without the need for safety equipment like straps and helmets.
Stansfield performed a curtain on the wall at Brighton science festival.
Speaking after the performance, Stanfield said: Building wall climbing machines is the way he wants to remind children: understand the world around you and capture the natural laws that serve you.
Before the invention of the wall climbing machine, Stansfield had built a pneumatic motorbike, water walking shoes.
