Netherlands launches the world's largest outdoor vacuum cleaner

The air purifier mechanism operating under vacuum by a Dutch company can manufacture air filters 800.000m 3 per hour in a radius of 300m.

Dutch engineers introduce the world 's first outdoor vacuum cleaner at an energy seminar held today in Amsterdam, according to Phys.org. This is the world's largest air purifier system that can remove harmful particles from the air.

"This massive industrial filter is 8 meters long, made of steel and can be placed on top of buildings. It works like a big vacuum cleaner , " said Henk Boersen, spokeswoman for Envinity Group. maker of the machine, said.

The system can absorb air in a 300m radius and 7km from the ground. The machine is designed to handle 800.000m 3 gas per hour, 100% clean filter small particles and 95% of ultra-small particles, according to test results of the Energy Research Center of the Netherlands (ECN). "A large gas column will become completely clean after running through the filter , " Boersen said. According to him, many governments, companies and airports expressed interest in the project.

Air is always present in small particles due to emissions from burning wood and other fuels, as well as from industrial combustion. This is considered to be a harmful carcinogen, according to the European Environment Agency.

About 90% of people in the European Union are exposed to small particles that exceed the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. Small particles emanate from the exhaust of vehicles and planes, which can damage the nervous system, including brain cells and cause infection.

Another "Smog Free Tower" air purifier proposed by Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde was installed in Beijing last month. Using technology not produce ozone ions, the system can clean 30,000 m 3 of air blown through the tower every hour and collects over 75% of harmful particles.
