Colombia launched the first satellite into space
On April 17, a rocket of Russian-Ukraine joint venture Kosmotras brought Libertad-1, Colombia's first satellite, into orbit.
This satellite 10 cm high, 10 cm wide, weighs 1 kg, is the smallest of the satellites, whose main task is to transmit signals, take pictures of locations and measure temperature. In the future, this small satellite can also transmit digital audio and video signals captured by a satellite-mounted camera.
