Computer cum comedian

Scientists at the University of Edinburgh have designed a computer that can create funny sayings according to simple rules.

This computer was set up to learn to laugh in a popular and very successful way in American comedy by ending the sentence with an unexpected word.

Some comedian actors such as Tommy Cooper or Les Dawson often use this method and create a great effect.

The computer of scientists at Edinburgh University has the ability to create funny sayings.

However, it is worth mentioning that just like humans, these comedians are developed to be able to create funny sayings that can distinguish the gender of the subject.

Computer software is designed to find unrelated ones and combine them together.

One of the most popular funny quotes is comparing men and women to another audience, for example: 'I like my woman like I like gas . naturally'.

In many cases, scientists at Endinburgh University can create jokes following this structure no different than comedians. However, there are many cases where it does not work well.

A lot of comedians in America have created successful careers thanks to such funny sayings. For example, Darren Carter used to say, 'I like my woman like I like .' and let the audience finish the last word to make it laugh.

One of Darren Carter's famous quotes is: 'I like my woman like I like it . the camera is ready . flashing'.

Dr David Matthews, a scientist at the University of Edinburgh, who led the development of this amusing computer, said they experimented with laughing for volunteers and found that they also laughed even though not as much. with a true comedian.

Matthews says that, in order to increase the ability to create funny sayings for computers, the software still needs to be further developed in American culture and language fonts.

'Computers have an advantage over people in the ability to process information. So we can give them a huge amount of data so that they can draw combinations of creativity and surprises in the form of funny sentences available, 'Matthews said.

'The importance of a comedy is the cultural content in it, however, this is not easy to grasp at all,' Dr. Matthews said.

Dr. Matthews will present this special computer at the Computer Linguistics Conference that will take place in Bulgaria in the near future.
