Confirm the existence of the 117th chemical element
After 14 years since the discovery of element 116 (Livermorium), global scientists have finally found and confirmed the existence of the 117th element: Ununseptium.

The 117 element , called "Ununseptium" , has been discovered by US and Russian scientists from the JINR Atomic Research Cooperation Institute since 2010. Up to four years later, the study has just been a team Other independent science confirmed. After this event, the Organization of the Most Pure Chemistry and Application has officially recognized the existence of the Ununseptium.
With this recognition, Ununseptium will be included in the periodic table, noting a new human evolution in chemistry and transuranium elements ( super Uranium elements ). It is known that this successful reconstruction study of Element 117 was carried out by the Ion Research Center GSI Helmhotz (Germany). Like JINR, GSI Helmholtz successfully created Ununseptium by releasing Calcium isotopes into radioactive Berkelium.
"It is not a simple task. Creating the 117th chemical element has almost reached the limit of science at this time," said Professor David Hinde of Australian National University. interview with IFLScience. Like other super uranium elements, the Ununseptium is very unstable and only has a radioactive half-life of about 80 milliseconds.
However, the 80-millisecond time still exceeded scientists' expectations. This opens up the possibility that after element 118 will be a "Stable Island" or "Sustainable Island" . The "Stable Island" concept is used to refer to a series of super uranium elements that have radiological half-life cycles in minutes, days or even millions of years according to scientists' conjecture.
