Considering personality based on unreliable birthdays

One of the latest studies on human relations with astrology has shown that there is almost no correlation between the date of birth and human character.

The study adds evidence that there is no scientific basis for constellations such as Aries, Taurus . - those are determined based on the position of the sun corresponding to the birth date of each person.

" When looking at the scientific elements of the zodiac, there is clearly no truth in it, " said Peter Hartmann, head of research published in the journal Personal Differences and Speech.

" This does not necessarily mean that all astrology is illogical, but considering the influence of the zodiac on human character is unjust," Hartmann, a researcher at the Department of Psychology from Aarhus University, Denmark, said.

Hartmann and his colleagues used statistical methods and computer analysis to study the astrological links of more than 15,000 people. If the relationship exists at a rate of more than 5%, they will be considered valuable, not random.

The group did not find any connection between a person's date of birth and their personality. However, researchers also identified those who were born between July and 12 a bit smarter than those born between January and June.

Geoffrey Dean, an Australian astrologer, also watched over 2,000 people born just minutes apart, focusing on more than 100 features, such as marital status, IQ, temperament, anxiety. Dean concluded that his birthday did not affect each person's personality.
