Decoding strange objects flying across the Moon between eclipses

The image of a black circular object flying over the Moon's surface was recorded by a person watching the half-moon eclipse.

Luis G. Verdiales in Loiza, Puerto Rico was surprised to see a black round disc while washing the lunar eclipse half of the night on February 10, according to Sun.

"The black circular disk appeared when I was using a 125mm-diameter telescope to capture the lunar eclipse. It moved too slowly to be a satellite, so slow that I could photograph it with the camera. 4 times personal, it made me notice by the round shape , " Verdiales said.

After careful analysis, experts who confirm black dots are not tricks on camera lenses. Through reference to the flight map, they identified the dot as a balloon of Google 's Project Loon project in the US. Google drops thousands of airships into the air to test the possibility of Internet coverage from above.

Eddie Irizarry of the Caribbean Astronomical Society examines the file to check if the airship is flying over the area at the time the pictures are taken. Irizarry discovered that the balloon number HBAL176 of Project Loon was located at an altitude of 18,700m east of Puerto Rico, near San Thomas at the time. Further analysis shows that this balloon is located between the Verdiales garden and the Moon.
