Detecting emerald blocks longer than 1m, weighs 3.6 quintals

A huge block of emeralds, 1.3m high, weighs 3.6 quintals, was discovered by miners in April in the Carnaiba mining area (northern Brazil).

According to AOL News, the aforementioned rare emeralds were found at a depth of nearly 200m in the Carnaiba (Brazil) mining area. Pearl blocks are valued at about 435 million USD (equivalent to 9,800 billion VND).

An anonymous customer bought the pearl, but refused to reveal his identity for security reasons. In the future, the pearl will be put on display throughout the museum.

Paulo Santana of the Brazilian Gem Production Department said it was the second largest emerald ever found in Carnaiba.

Earlier, in 2001, the crossbows in Carnaiba found a block of heavy emeralds of about 3.8 pounds, worth more than $ 300 million (equivalent to 6,800 billion).
