Brazilian miners discovered precious precious jade weighing 3.6 quintals

A group of Brazilian miners found extremely rare jade blocks, weighing 363kg and worth up to $ 305 million.

Miners saw the greenish dark black stone while digging at Carnaiba mine in the small town of Pindobacu, Brazil, TV Sao Francisco yesterday reported. They must carefully chisel out the surrounding rock so as not to spoil the jewel.

According to local authorities, the giant block of jade was sold to the owner of a mine on the side. Marcio Jandir, the lawyer of the unnamed buyer, said they had no intention of keeping the jade in the house.

"We have done all the necessary procedures to apply for a certificate of origin certification at the request of the National Ministry of Mining. We have received the certificate and the owner of the jade is entitled to transport it in the territory Brazil, he wants to exhibit pearl blocks in museums and libraries, " Jandir said.

Pearl blocks can be chopped and polished into 200,000 carat jade.
