According to RIA Novosti, this gemstone weighs one kilogram and is found at the Malyshevskoye mine.
However, experts in the Russian State Precious Stone and Metal Storage have not yet set the market price of this deep blue gem throughout the half.
"It's really a beautiful emerald , " said Svetlana Kalinina, Kaliningrad Amber spokesman.
This is the second time miners have exploited the emeralds at the Malyshevskoye mine. Last year, a Yubileiny 3,187 carat jewel was also found here.
Earlier this year, the Kaliningrad Amber factory held the first emerald auction and sold 50kg of raw gems for about a million dollars. Emeralds in the Urals region are very popular because colors are almost perfect.
According to industry experts, the price of emeralds increases about 10% annually. They are particularly sought after by European, Chinese and American collectors. Colombia is currently the largest emerald producer in the world, accounting for about 50-95% of global production.
