Detecting stone bridge on Mars

The US Mars Mars satellite (Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter) has recently discovered that there is a strange bridge-like structure on Mars, Moskovsky Komsomolets said.

American scientists say that the mountain bridge was formed by the flow of water from ancient times, proving that on this red planet has long existed.

In addition, in June last, astronomers from NASA also determined that, on the Ellada plateau in Mars, there existed a sea of more than 2,000 km in diameter and 8 km deep. Astronomers from the University of Colorado think that there has been an ocean that accounts for 36% of the planet.

Another group of US scientists is skeptical of the theory that the bridge was formed under the influence of the movement of rocky mountains on Mars.

Scientist Aleksandr Podin of the Russian Academy of Aerospace Research suggests that when there was a volcanic eruption on Mars 2.5 billion years ago, there was a lava tunnel. but it cooled down, the wind and the tectonic process destroyed the structure of this tunnel.

Thus, the bridge we see today is the trail of the tunnel.

" In fact, this bridge is nothing strange. For Mars, this is a predictable formation ," - Russian scientist said.
