Detecting strange, white bats

Recently, a white bat flew into the basement of Mr. Nguyen Bao Long's residence at No. 260, Lane 89/27, Cau Giay, Cau Giay District - Hanoi.

According to Nguyen Bao Long, about 21 hours on June 20, a white bat flew into the basement to park Mr. Long's house 2m high, in front of the house there was a garden and a big tree.

This bat is just like every other bat, only the whole thing and white body look very nice like a white mouse.

When he discovered this strange bat, Mr. Long caught the bat and put it in a glass jar and put a thin cloth on his window.

Through monitoring, Mr. Long found the bat getting weaker and weaker. He was very worried because he did not know what to feed and wanted to find scientists to guide the care of this strange bat.

However, after that, the bat escaped from the jar and flew away. Thankfully, Mr. Long caught some pictures of this strange white bat.

According to scientists from the Institute of Biological Resources Biology, this may be an albino bat (reduced genetic pigmentation) so it is not as black as other bats .

Still according to experts, Vietnam has many bats. Vietnam currently has 107 species, 31 varieties, 7 families and 2 bat sub-groups. This list is still longer, including species that have never been found in Southeast Asia.
