Devoured by pythons, animals with maternal bags could do the last thing

A resident in Brisbane, Australia, was surprised to find the big python swallowing marsupials in his backyard garden.

According to the Daily Mail, the python strikes the bait easily in the middle of the night in the back of an Australian people's garden.

Carpets devour the possums in home gardens in Australia.

The video returned by the host shows the python swallowing the marsupial. Snake catcher Janne Torkkola says such a big meal helps the python feel "in for a long time".

What touched the people around them was that they found the marsupial living in close proximity to the animal where their mother's bag was swallowed. The maternal possessions had promptly pushed her child out of the bag before disappearing in the python.

The landlord then gave the pet bag to the health center for pets. The animal is currently being cared for and will be released back to nature once it can survive on its own.

Torkkola said the tragedy of swallowing marsupials is not a rare thing during this time of year in Australia.'In summer and spring, marsupials are more active, but this also makes them easy to become prey for pythons , ' Torkkola said.

Carpeting usually only hunts small rodents. But once it grows to a large size, they keep an eye on both marsupials and bats, Torkkola added.
