Discovered an ancient temple of 4,000 years in Peru

Peruvian archaeologist Walter Alva said: " The temple, called Ventarron, is located next to a large ruins area, including a stairway leading to an altar used as a place of worship. set in the Lambayeque valley, near the ancient Sipan population excavated in the 1980s. Ventarron was built before the ancient Sipan civilization, about 2,000 years ago when Jesus was born "

Walter Alva added: " The surprise is that the methods of construction, architectural design and most of the remaining frescoes may all be the oldest in the Americas "

The excavation area of ​​the Lambayeque valley, about 472 miles from the Peruvian capital Lima. Peru is a country rich in archaeological vestiges, including the Incu citadel of Machu Picchu in the Andes.

Previous discoveries at Sipan, the Moche cultural and administrative center, found a gold-plated tomb built 1700 years ago for an Incan king.

Discovering this ancient temple revealed the secret of the Lambayeque Valley as a major cultural transformation between the Pacific Ocean and the rest of Peru.
