Discovering two planets destroy each other
The two giant spheres rushed at each other, causing a massive explosion and leaving a giant cloud of dust.
A group of experts at the University of Tennessee and the California Institute of Technology reported that they found a giant cloud of dust moving around a star named BD +20 307 - 300 light-years away from Earth (meaning that way the present time is at least 300 years).
"The incident is like Earth crashing into Venus. Astronomers have never seen any such phenomenon," said Benjamin Zuckerman, a member of the research team.

"If one of the planets has life, that terrible collision certainly destroys everything in a few milliseconds. It's an absolutely destructive event," said Gregory Henry, astronomer expert. University of Tennessee, said.
In July 2005, the team found that the cloud of flying dust around BD +20 307 had a very high temperature. But it took them three years to conclude that BD +20 307 was made up of two planets of equal size and mass.
"We didn't observe the collision between the two planets directly, but the presence of a giant cloud of hot dust around BD +20 307 helped us to speculate on the disaster. The distance from the dust to the throne. Why is the equivalent of the distance from Earth and Venus to the Sun , " Henry said.
