Drive the ship on Saturn's surface

No one has ever been sailing in another world, but the US Aerospace Agency (Nasa) is considering sailing on Saturn's moon Titan.

The purpose of the mission is to find clues about climate and the signs of life here.

Titan surface has many lakes, like the surface of the earth, but these lakes do not have water but are full of methane and ethane mixture . On earth, these two substances are gaseous, but on the surface of Titan they are liquid, because the temperature here is -180 ° C.

NASA is considering sending a probe to explore these lakes. They named this mission Tintan Mare Explorer (TiME), with three candidates competing to join the mission in 2016. TiME was led by the scientist Ellen Stofan at Proxemy Research Institute .

In 2023, after a 7-year flight taking off from Earth, the TiME will descend to a lake north of Titan's moon. Powered by plutons, the ship will remain on the lake surface for data collection for 3 months. Titan is the only place in the solar system that seems to have the same water cycle as the earth, when water on the surface is supplied by hydrocarbon rain, then the surface water evaporates to form rain.

TiME will help clarify the details of this cycle on Titan moon by measuring temperature, humidity and wind on the lake surface. If lucky, this will be the first ship to experience rain in another world. TiME will also detect any unusual chemical element or life in the lake.

But to fly to Titan, the TiME will have to complete two other proposed missions, including Mars's seismic mission and fly on the surface of a comet.
