Dubai inaugurates the world's tallest hotel

Dubai - The United Arab Emirates has just shoved its own record on February 11 when inaugurating the world's tallest hotel.

The 75-storey skyscraper, called Gevora, is 356m high, beating the old record of JW Marriott Marquis just 1m. The National newspaper reported that the first guests of the Gevora hotel were welcomed on February 12.

According to the above article, the world's tallest hotel has 528 rooms and is built next to Rose Rayhaan by Rotana. It is worth mentioning that Rose Rayhaan also held the highest title in the world with a height of 333m.

In addition to the luxurious bedrooms, Gevora facilities include 4 restaurants, an outdoor pool, spa, health club and jacuzzi. Meanwhile, the "runner-up" JW Marriott Marquis proved to be superior to 9 restaurants, 5 bars, 2 banquet rooms, a spa and a health club.

Dubai is also the city that owns the tallest building in the world Burj Khalifa with the height of 828m. This affluent city is aiming to attract 20 million annual visitors by 2020 when hosting the International Expo Expo 2020.
