Dubai's The Tower looks down on Creek harbor, inspired by the Babylon hanging garden in legend, according to the International Business Times. With a height of 928m, this skyscraper is 100m taller than Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world today.

According to Mohamed Alabbar, chairman of Emaar Properties real estate company in Dubai, The Tower's construction cost is about one billion USD. Construction started in October 2016 and the opening time is expected to be 2020.

Once completed, the building will include an observation deck, an outdoor garden, 20 floors for apartments, businesses, restaurants and hotels. The structure of the tower is based on giant cables anchored to the ground, keeping the building firmly in front of the effects of wind and earthquakes.
