Elon Musk wants humankind to leave Earth

Billionaire Elon Musk worries about the destruction of the Earth and plans to migrate humanity to Mars.

He suggested that humans should leave Earth as soon as possible and become a species that lives in many planets, according to blogger Tim Urban in the article "How (and why) SpaceX will conquer Mars".

The reason for Musk is simple. If there is an asteroid coming to earth, we will have technology to protect the planet, or divert the attack.

According to Musk, if a major disaster, like a star next to Earth explodes, all humanity will probably return to dust. He said that people cannot just sit there and endure.

In billions of planets, humanity finds itself on Earth, a perfect planet in all aspects of life.

Even so, the Earth is full of anger. This small planet witnessed five rounds of genocide during development because of natural disasters, like volcanic eruptions or meteorites.

In the article, Urban looks at Earth with a different perspective: Look at the planet as a hard drive, and each species is a file stored on it. This hard drive has encountered errors 5 times (with 5 rounds of genocide), and each time we lose most of the data (corresponding to prehistoric species, like dinosaurs).

Humans are precious data lying on that hard drive."If you are saving an important file on that hard drive, and know that it can get any error at any time, the question is, what do you do?"

According to Elon Musk, the simplest answer: Save that data to another hard drive.

That's why Musk is enamored of the idea of Mars - a spare hard drive of mankind.

Musk not only wanted to bring some people to Mars, he wanted to bring 1 million people there. If we want to build a second society, take on social engineering elements and ensure genetic resources to maintain the race, 1 million people are the minimum. That is the only way we can survive as a species in a strange place between the vast universe.

Later this year, along with SpaceX, Elon Musk hopes to launch a spaceship capable of accommodating 100 passengers to Mars. Recently, he has been feverish to the scientific community with the idea of the space ship Red Dragon used to bring people to the red planet.
