Everyone wants to be beautiful, but bad

This society likes beauty, but does not mean that bad people do not have a place to use martial arts.

Nobody can deny that life will be much easier when you have beauty. Science also recognizes this, when there are many studies that show the benefits of appearance to health, social relations, and even the money you earn.

Beautiful people are more confident, better at communicating, easier to feel.

Easy to understand! Beauty is more confident, more communicative, more accessible to people, easier to boss, and natural wages are higher than those who are not beautiful.

However, a study recently published in Business and Psychology magazine provides evidence against this concept.

Satoshi Kanazawa from London University of Economics (UK) and Mary Still from Massachusetts University (Boston, USA) conducted a large-scale survey of over 20,000 young people in the US. Candidates will make an assessment of the so-called "charm" from the age of 16, then three more until they're 29 years old.

The results show that people are not always low in salary. In contrast, when some factors such as health and intellect are included, those with virtues such as diligence and extrovert may earn far more money than the majority.

Notably, people classified as extremely bad, "hurt" can earn more money than the group at "less attractive" , even when compared to people with good looks.

Alex Fradera - a reputable journalist at BPS Digest page gave an explanation for this story. He said one of the five elements of human expression "ready to experience" can be very much related to low-income factors, as well as the attractiveness of looks.

Bad but the texture is harmonious.

"Many people look very bad, and their personalities are not available. But maybe this makes them more committed in one area, then become superior?" - Fradera shared.

It is known that in the five-factor model, people with a willingness to experience often follow artistic tendencies with many unique ideas, want to try new things. For people with low scores on this side, is it more practical, prefer to focus on one thing, and maybe because of that they become rich?

According to Fradera, this is a meaningful study, because works that previously referred only to the less attractive are "bad", in fact, the comment on looks may not be as simple as that.

Model 5 factors : Scientists believe that everyone has five personality elements of this model, which are: outward (extraversion), conscientiousness (agreeableness), ready to spread openness to experience and neuroticism.
