Evidence of the US military controlling the weather?
The US government is believed to be working on a secret military project to control the weather, according to the Daily Star.
The video was posted by a passenger named Chang, on a domestic flight from Atlanta to Las Vegas, USA.
The plane overcame a storm and that was when Chang discovered something unusual when looking out the window.
The video filmed a bright orange strip in the middle of the storm. The video then abruptly ends, before the viewer gets a better perspective. Chang said his phone ran out of battery at that time.
The mysterious phenomenon that American passengers recorded.
The video was widely shared on YouTube and attracted more than 550,000 views in just a few days.
Many viewers speculate what the strange phenomenon really is. One person commented: 'Aliens are landing on Earth and causing that strange phenomenon'.
Some others believe that this is a secret US weather control project . Research program for high-frequency aura (HARRP) is a research project in cooperation with the Air Force, the Navy, Alaska Fairbanks University and the Research Agency for DARPA Advanced Defense Projects.
HAARP is listed as a 'national security' and is completely secretive to domestic and foreign scientists.
Professor Michel Chossudovsky once said: 'Recent scientific research confirms that HAARP is capable of creating storms, tsunamis, earthquakes and droughts'.
In the past few years, whenever there was a strange natural phenomenon, people often blamed the US government's HAARP project.
But not everyone believes in this, many others believe that this is merely the sun shining in the storm.
